Topic: Week 3 Questions and Discussion

Welcome to the third lesson in our third workshop. We're glad to have you join us. Feel free to ask anything about lesson three here.

Sam, Thanks for another great process, the framing is a great way to start by containg a scene and then drawing over that with pens, I would like to experiment with this technique on the tinted papers with the inks. You've opened a door for the Comic Art Illustration Im teaching and excited to share with my class! Ill check out your Instagram.
Hi again Sam, This was another fun one. I stuck to your prompt pretty directly here. I'm usually not inclined to do watercolor first, then ink, but I liked how this turned out! Thanks, James
Trying this again to see if the image will flip to the correct orientation.

Another fun creative therapy afternoon with my son, Sam:) Our cabins took a bit of a creepy turn thanks the the media we are enjoying lately, so we also added a phrase to each of our scenes. Mine reads: Enjoy the silence…, and Sam’s (with the blood moon) reads: You aren’t all alone…. Thanks again for a super fun lesson, Sam, and for prompting me to do something different—watercolor first and representational ink later. Quite fun!
I love seeing all these creative cabins - and that blood moon especially adds a lovely bit of flair! I notice how vibrant your paintings are - even from the thumbnails the contrast between Green of the trees and blue of the water is so pleasant! Were there any troubles or barriers you ran into during this lesson?
