I’m a little dumbfounded. I watch Steve all the time on YouTube and was looking forward to this lesson segment. Till I looked at supply list, it seems to me he swears by M Grahams watercolor paint which I have almost the entire line and for this lesson it states Maimeri Blue watercolors???? Only place to get those is Jackson’s art in Europe and rather pricey. Quite disappointed to say the least

Blick carries Maimeri Blu here in the US, but I suspect you can use what you have on hand in similar colors. Given the spontaneous, loose style in these lessons, you could probably pick your own color palette as well.
Use what you have. I do love M. Graham but they are not heads and shoulders above every other paint there is. My preferences are pretty specific. Most Pro or Artist's grade paints are all very good. I actually did a few YouTube videos on my channel recently using Maimeri Blue. I've had Maimeri Blue and used it off and on for at least 5 years. Good paint. If you don't have it, it doesn't matter. Color palette is not important either. This workshop is about the process.
The brand doesn't necessarily bring the result. : ) It's the process here that's important ! I love it !
Exactly Martine! Well said.
