Kelly, Not a finished product, for sure. Looking for feedback suggestions. I'm especially concerned about shadows and lines at wrist. Picture used for drawing and drawing should be in this message Thanks, Tom

I struggled with the red pencil and eventually went to a red pastel pencil so I could erase and smudge. I found it difficult to draw over the red pencil with the white chalk pencil…. Thanks for the challenge! I never would have tried doing something like this, only using three colors to create skin tone! Love learning new stuff!!!! And yes I have all these lovely wrinkles LOL, hence the title of my piece “64”. 😄

Lesson 2 Really enjoyed this lesson, the process learning, your instruction and the steps written out! I plan to do another of the marble bust; just so much to learn☺️ Anything you could speak on about this please do! Thank you!

Hey Tom, I wanted to repost your critique here, in case you don't see it in the main chat (Lesson 1 Chat & Q&As) This is a visual critique, requested by Tom. Despite the images being very small, I think I could still see a lot. I didn't mention, I just did a flick of white to express the shine on your ring. Thank you for sharing your art! Here's the text from the image: Great to see you drew your hand! I made the back of your hand more blocky, and your thumb more bent. Find that zig-zag shadow line on your arm, and the cast shadow on the table. I toned a lot of the skin with graphite and warmed up with red.

Thanks again Kelly. I realized later last week that I shouldn't have created the new thread and then posted to the main chat.
